About CiboloWatch
Who runs this, how it works, and how to reach us.
Operator
CiboloWatch is operated by Adam Rome, a Cibolo resident and local SEO professional. Adam runs Prime Local Growth, a local SEO agency for service businesses in the San Antonio area.
CiboloWatch is not a news organization. It is a resident-focused tracker that monitors public records, government websites, and TxDOT project pages so Cibolo and Schertz residents do not have to.
Questions, corrections, or tips: adam@primelocalgrowth.com
What we track
- TxDOT road projects affecting Cibolo and Schertz corridors (FM 1103, FM 1518, I-35)
- City Council and Planning & Zoning hearings in Cibolo and Schertz
- SCUC ISD school district actions affecting residents
- Major retail, commercial, and mixed-use development
- Water, wastewater, and utility capacity projects (CCMA)
- Bond elections and capital spending that affects neighborhoods
How updates are sourced
Every update links directly to a public source, a TxDOT project page, a city meeting notice, a permit filing, or a local news report. Updates are not based on rumor or social media. If a source changes or a project status shifts, the update is revised.
Each update carries a Verified date, the last date Adam confirmed the information was still accurate against the linked source.
Editorial standards
- Updates are written in plain language, not agency jargon.
- Impact level (High / Medium) reflects estimated effect on daily commutes, housing, or neighborhood character, not political opinion.
- CiboloWatch does not editorialize on whether a project is good or bad. We report what is happening and let residents form their own views.
- Sponsor relationships (if any) are disclosed and do not influence which updates are covered or how they are written.
What we are not
- Not affiliated with the City of Cibolo, City of Schertz, TxDOT, Guadalupe County, or any government agency.
- Not a substitute for official public notices, always verify with the issuing agency before acting on any information here.
- Not a news organization subject to journalism ethics codes, though we follow similar sourcing practices.
Corrections
If you find an error, wrong status, outdated information, or a broken source link, email adam@primelocalgrowth.com with the update title and what's wrong. Corrections are prioritized and typically resolved within 48 hours.
